KINGDOM REALITY EXPLAINED

KINGDOM REALITY
Mark 4:11, 22
The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open.
The secret of the Kingdom of God is revealed to all who will listen. God's Spirit will open our eyes to those things we need to see. The Spirit of God and his word agree. It was with the help of God's Spirit that men were inspired to write the Bible. Jesus promised that "when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come." (John 16:13). In these last days knowledge will increase, and "none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand" (Dan 12:10). If we would understand, then we must have respect for God and his word, for the word of God contains everything we need to know about the Kingdom of God. The word of God is the foundation of God's Kingdom. God has always had a plan and he has always remained true to his will. The Bible is simply the plans, purposes, and will of God revealed to mankind. One of the amazing things about the word of God is that each truth it contains ties in with everything else found written within his word. This demonstrates the hand of God speaking to man. The Bible is the most remarkable object in existence, for nothing is perfect in this world, other than the word of God. Enough cannot be said of how incomparably matchless the word of God is. Its' very existence is miraculous. The word of God alone is sufficient proof for anyone seeking for the existence of God.
The truths of God's Kingdom which have been revealed to us in his word, I call Kingdom Reality; hence the title of this book. God's word reveals to our heart a reality greater than the earthly reality we are confronted with every day of our life. Earthly realities are those things which human experience shows us is true, according to universal law. Gravity is an earthly reality. All our experience of the natural world teaches us this. What goes up, will come down. Evolution is not an earthly reality. Evolution is only a theory, a theory which contradicts the universal laws of physics which demonstrate that all matter is in a state of decay. Our experience with matter tells us that matter always descends toward chaos, not order. This is why evolution cannot be classified as an earthly reality.
But there is a reality which neither defies, nor contradicts earthly reality; it simply supercedes earthly reality. This is Kingdom reality. The resurrection of Christ is not a theory. The resurrection of Christ is Kingdom reality. Physics teaches us that all matter is in a state of decay. Jesus Christ is immune to this earthly reality. His heavenly body hasn't decayed in over two thousand years. Kingdom reality supercedes the laws of thermodynamics. Christ ascended into Heaven. What went up, did not come down. Kingdom reality supercedes the laws of gravity.
How can the resurrection of Christ be proven true to our experience? Well, dive off a cliff and you'll experience the reality of gravity, as your body descends toward the water below. The power of gravity will inexorably pull you down, until you hit the surface of the water. In God's word we have a revelation of what is ours now through Jesus our Savior and what is yet to become ours, but it is God's Spirit who makes these revelations practical realities in our life today. Christ's living Spirit is the power which supercedes all power, and the power behind all Kingdom reality. The question is, how do we tap into this power? When it comes to making Kingdom reality a part of our everyday experience, believing God's word and putting his word into practice in our life is the only thing which can bring God's power into operation. Call on the name of Jesus, proclaiming him as your Lord, and you'll experience the evidence of his resurrection, as his Spirit comes to live in your heart. The resurrection of Christ will no longer be a theory to you, but a fact.
